Do you design websites for customers outside of the Lake Norman area?
Most of our web design clients are located in the Lake Norman area. Our service area primarily includes Hickory, Statesville, Mooresville, Lincolnton... and everywhere in between. However, because we're always just a click, email, or phone call away, we do work with businesses throughout the United States.
Do you provide web hosting? If so, what do you charge?
We include secure hosting for FREE! We also include an SSL certificate (see below) at no additional charge.
What is an SSL certificate?
SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. SSL creates an additional layer of safety that protects the information visitors choose to share with your website. Google suggests that websites with an SSL certificate (https://) get an added advantage in search results.
Our sites perform better in search than all of the above. We also love the ease of use and seamless integration with Google-based apps such as Docs, YouTube, and Maps.
What advanced website features do you provide?
Your new website can feature content such as Google Drive files, YouTube videos, Google Calendars, Google Maps, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Forms, Charts, and Google Docs.
How much time does it take to develop a website?
Average site development takes 1-2 weeks, depending on complexity and number of pages.
How do you make a Google Sites look good?
We adhere to the "tried and true" web design principles using our layout guide. Research has proven that a simple, clean design is easier to navigate and understand. It also helps to keep the website fast-loading and responsive.
What support do you provide once the website design is done?
It depends on your needs. We can help with routine content updates, the creation of new pages, graphics, etc.
Do you provide a help desk?

What does the term SEO mean?
SEO, or search engine optimization, is a method of building a website that it is "understandable" by search engines. This increases the likelihood that relevant content will appear in search results. In most cases, the higher your website ranks, the more visitors you will get.
What does mobile-friendly mean?

What Is local search?
Local search allows users to submit geographically based searches against a database of local business listings. Typical local search queries include info about "what" the user is searching for (i.e., keywords, business category, product name) but also the "where", such as city, town, or zip code.
